David Abel
Founder
Starting out in Pattern Making and Model Making David then went on to enjoy a period of contracting around the world support clients such as Volvo, DAF Trucks, Opel, Holden, Ford and others. David moved back to England and co-founded Futura Design in the late 1980s.
During its 30+ year history, Futura has built a worldwide reputation for delivering design programmes through to finished concept cars for motor shows as well as low volume vehicle production projects.
David has built a lot of good friendships and relationships across the automotive design industry and continues to monitor the companies progress under the next generation of the family with his 2 sons.
Mark Abel
CEO
A shareholder of the company, Mark has over 14 years of automotive design experience with foundations coming from Model making and Clay Modelling and later adding further experience in Additive Manufacturing, CNC Machining, and Paint finishing applications.
Following various contracts around the UK and Europe Mark settled into the role as Director and CEO of Futura Design and predominantly focuses on the Prototype Manufacturing division however still offers key involvement to the Recruitment division too.
Daniel Abel
COO
A shareholder and company director, Daniel has over 10 years of experience as a specialist in Automotive Design Recruitment.
Supporting over 20 Automotive OEM clients across UK & Europe Daniel has developed extensive knowledge across Master Vendor Agreements, IR35, Contract Recruitment, PAYE Temp, Payroll, Project Services, Labour Leasing in EU, and many other areas.
Daniel is also well educated in HR and Contract Law providing one to one consultations and advice.
